She will help you with female pelvic floor and pregnancy-related conditions including but not limited to:
- Stress incontinence
- Prolapse
- Overactive bladder
- Faecal incontinence
- Pelvic floor pain
- Abdominal separation
- Pelvic, hip and back pain
- Bladder conditions associated with neurological conditions like Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease
She also provides post-natal check-ups from 6 weeks after birth.
Your physiotherapy treatment may include:
- Pelvic floor strengthening or relaxation exercises
- Pessary fitting to support the bladder, bowel or uterus
- Stretches and dilators for tight pelvic floor muscles
- Electrical stimulation for the bladder or pelvic floor muscles
- Exercises for your core, hip and buttock muscles
